Austins Finest takes 5th in Ronald McDonald

Austins Finest takes 5th in the 14U Ronald McDonald. We started off strong on Friday and Saturday going 5-0 beating College Station Tigers, Young Guns, Orange Crush, Texas Rattlers, and Storm Elite.
On Sunday we met two tough opponents and played strong games and could not come out with the victory. We lost to Texas Fusion and Storm Elite (Vaughn) both teams walked out 2nd and 3rd in the tournament. Great Job Austins Finest way to represent Central Texas.

Austins Finest Takes 2nd in San Marcos 18U

Austins Finest goes 4-2-1 in San Marcos this past weekend. Bats and girls started off slowly but picked it up later when it mattered.
First game we played the Stix and won 2-1, lost to Texas Sting 2-0 and tied Clash 0-0, then played the Lady Patriots and won 11-4.
Off to bracket we went and played the Scorpions in our first game and won 9-2, next game was Texas Stix we won 6-3, then we met again with Texas Sting and we scored 2 runs and up 2-0 and then we just made a few mental errors and let them back in the game and they ended beating us 6-2. Hats off to Texas Sting a very good group of girls! It was a great job by our girls and we took 2nd in the 18U division.

Austins Finest Briana Vallejo takes 3rd runner up in the Austin Pagent. She qualified to go to Orlando Florida. Congrats to Briana and way to represent Austins Finest! You KNOW!

Austins Finest Takes 1st in San Marcos 18U

Austins Finest goes to San Marcos and plays up in 18U division. We went 3-1 in our pool games beating Platinum 16U, SWAT, ENVY JUST US and losing to Round Rock Crush 4-2.
Bracket came and we would meet the same teams in a single elimination bracket. We played SWAT first and won then we would meet up with Round Rock Crush who gave us our only loss of the tournament. It started off close but then our team bats came alive and were hot. We just stayed focused and came out with a strong victory. We then would meet up with Platinum 16U in the championship and our bats stayed in the groove and we won 4-1.
Our team went 6-1 for the weekend. Great job ladies, we outscored our opponnents 56-15 not bad for a bunch of 12, 13 and 14 year olds!
